Hotel Ecu – Different Hotels has a trendy, clean-cut interior dominated by light colours. The lounge bar is a lovely place to unwind with a drink and some pleasant music or a spot of television. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the entire hotel.

A breakfast buffet is available from 07:00 to 10:00. The hotel does not have a restaurant. However, Hotel ECU is located in the city centre of Genk, where many bars and restaurants can also be found. Hotel ECU works in close collaboration with the nearby restaurants Gusto (500 m) and the Italian, La Focaccia.

Genk is a bustling city in the Belgian province of Limburg. The cities of Maastricht and Tongeren can be reached within a 30-minute drive, and Liège and Aachen within a 45-minute drive. The landscape surrounding Genk is great for walking and cycling trips. Genk has an open air museum, 'Bokrijk', where visitors can step into the past. A visit to the recreational park of 'Kattevennen' is a nice day out in summertime.

During your stay you have access to the adjacent 'Carbon Sense' city spa at a discounted rate of €25 p.p. (instead of €35 p.p.) for 3 hours. The bath house offers two different saunas: a Finnish sauna of 65 °C and one of 90 °C, an authentic Turkish hammam, steam bath, foot baths, 'experience' showers and baths, a scrubs room and much more.

This app also contains information about the hotel, the surroundings, etc. Guests check themselves out. There is no reception staff at the hotel. Of course our colleagues of the Carbon Hotel (located 140 meters from Hotel ECU) are on standby if there are guests who have questions or difficulties.**
