The Market Hotel is located between De Grote Markt and De Nieuwe Markt, where the imposing Forum is located. This beautiful hotel with 123 luxurious rooms is located right in the heart of the pleasant student city of Groningen.

The hotel has six different room types, ranging from Comfort rooms with a rain shower (25m²) and Luxury rooms with a rain shower or bath (30m²) to the so-called Wow suites that live up to their name in all respects (34m²). All rooms have air conditioning, free WiFi, a seating area and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator.

You can also book an arrangement such as the Romantic Getaway, the Seasonal Special or the 't Kon Minder arrangement.

The hotel has a luxurious wellness area with a gym, sauna and Turkish bath. You can also opt for a wonderfully relaxing massage.

The Market Hotel is also the right place for your business appointments: the meeting room with a total of 164 m² is divided into three rooms, two of which can be combined.

You can choose a continental breakfast or a buffet breakfast. You can have lunch, dinner or drinks in Café Willem Albert, named after the Groningen industrialist Willem Albert Scholten. The café with terrace is located on the ground floor of the hotel and is not only accessible to hotel guests, so it is always pleasantly busy. You can also enjoy a cocktail and tasty snacks on the roof terrace with its phenomenal view.

Near the hotel there are many bars, terraces and restaurants in the friendly city of Groningen.

Due to the central location and the well-arranged center of Groningen, you are close to everything. From Central Station you can walk to the hotel in about ten minutes. Opposite the station is the architecturally interesting Groninger Museum. When you walk out of the hotel, you are almost immediately below the Martinitoren (100 m). The Graphic Museum is just around the corner and of course the Forum is a must see. The Prinsentuin (300 m) is also well worth a visit.
