Hotel Prinsenhof Groningen is established in a 15th century building in the heart of Groningen, situated by the beautiful Renaissance style Prinsentuin. The hotel enjoys a unique location; in a courtyard behind the Martini Tower. As such, it's centrally located yet still offers peace and quiet. Hotel Prinsenhof is a perfect combination of design and medieval architecture.
An elaborate breakfast can be enjoyed on weekdays between 07:00 and 10:00, and at weekends between 08:00 and 11:00. This is served in the Grand Café, a former friary with stained glass windows and an outdoor terrace. The Grand Café is also where you can enjoy lunch,dinner or a drink and is open from 09:00 onwards. Dinner is available at Alacarte restaurant from Wednesday through Saturday between 18:00 and 21:00 and serves traditionally prepared, quality food. The menu is based on French cuisine.

Many rooms at the hotel offer a view of the Martini Tower, which is only 100 metres from the hotel. On the other side of the hotel you'll find the Prinsentuin garden with its tea room. The city of Groningen offers plenty of unique places of interest, such as the Groninger Museum and the Noordelijk Scheepvaartmuseum. Groningen is also well-loved for its shopping and nightlife areas.

- Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location. Very central but a quiet and pretty location.
- The bedroom was comfortable but only had one very small wardrobe.

“Amazing place - stay here”
- Sleep like royalty - especially the suites. They did an amazing job with the conversion to a hotel and restaurant. The bed is one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. The Martini Tower bells are beautiful.
- The building structure can be confusing, and the ceiling in the medieval cellar is low, but hey, people used to not be as tall.
