De Thuiskamer has two contemporary guest rooms with double boxspring beds. Both rooms are fitted with a luxury bathroom featuring a hand held shower as well as a traditional shower head. Should you choose to book both rooms at De Thuiskamer Grou, you'll have the entire accommodation at your disposal. This allows you to enjoy some extra privacy, given the private entrance and sole use of the spacious living room. From the B&B you have a stunning view of the water or the church.

An elaborate Frisian breakfast is served each morning from 08:00 to 10:00 h., including homemade specialities and authentic, regional Frisian products. It is also possible to have breakfast earlier on request. Furthermore, you can order a picnic hamper featuring a variety of fresh and healthy products. It's great to take with you on a boat trip, cycling trip or on a nice walk. Bed and Breakfast De Thuiskamer Grou does not have a restaurant, but there are various establishments in the direct vicinity where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. It is also possible to hold private dinners at De Thuiskamer for 6 to 12 persons, on request.

Grou is one of the few water sports villages in Friesland that has its own train station. If you notify the hotel in time, they can offer a transport service to and from the train station. Grou lies right in between Leeuwarden, Drachten, Heerenveen and Sneek, all of which can be reached within 15 minutes. As such, De Thuiskamer is extremely convenient for the business guest. Grou is the ideal base from which to venture out by boat, bike or to visit the lovely shops and restaurants in Grou itself. You can also hire bikes, sloops and yachts or book sailing lessons here.
