Sneek, Stavoren and Hindeloopen are three of those towns, and are all easy to reach. For children, 'Kameleondorp Teherne' comes highly recommended: an amusement park entirely devoted to the Dutch children's book series 'De Kameleon', which is about two Frisian brothers and their adventures on the water.
