Hotel heer Hugo offers modern hotel rooms and excellent facilities for relaxation. Guests can make use of the Turkish steam bath, at an additional charge. The Suites furthermore come with a separate sitting area, and several rooms on the first and second floors feature a balcony. The Design Rooms are decorated in a variety of themes, such as New York and Tokyo.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week from 11:00 until 22:00. Advance reservations for the restaurant are recommended for weekends.
Heerhugowaard lies in a typically Dutch polder landscape near Alkmaar, a city renowned for its cheese markets in summer. Alkmaar also offers an abundance of nice shops as well as appealing architecture. Design Hotel Jules is situated near the coastal towns of Bergen aan Zee and Schoorl. The dunes surrounding Schoorl are great to explore by bike. Plus in Heerhugowaard itself you can visit the Aardbei Serre, where you can pick your own strawberries in summertime.

“Friendly staff and very nice rooms”
- The staff is very service minded, and will go out of the way to make you feel welcome.
- Nothing was negative, however I would recommend that there were more information available for the surroundings, what to see, how to get to the nearest beach, in total more information.

- Excellent night's stay - great value for money.
- We stayed in a luxury room, it was not that luxury, just a very basic room - no tea or coffee making facilities in the room ? Toilet, whilst clean, was a bit "dated" in its decor.

- The Hotel was lovely.
- Most dissappointing was that there were no tea making facilities in the rooms. Nearly all hotels offer that now. Felt that the breakfast was expensive.
