Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant every morning between 07:00 and 10:30.In terms of a culinary experience, the De Guldenberg in Helvoirt is a great choice. This modern brasserie with air conditioning offers a view of the woods whilst you enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. With a minimum of 35 persons, a dinner buffet or barbecue is possible. The large and pleasant terrace is open during nice weather. You can delight in a regal dinner between 17:30 and 22:00, prepared with fresh ingredients. The available three-course dinner can also be extended with more courses. On request you can have a dinner à la carte. Special diets can be catered for on request. The contemporary, cosy bar is open from 07:30 until 00:00.
Bordering on De Loonse en Drunense Duinen national park, the De Guldenberg is a great starting point for a walk or bike ride. This nature area is home to a variety of flora and fauna and has a visitors centre. You can also visit nearby theme parks such as De Efteling or De Beerse Bergen safari park, where you can come face-to-face with inhabitants of the African savannah. The cities of Den Bosch and Tilburg are also interesting options for day trips.

“Heerlijk rustig midden in de bossen”
- Fantastische ligging midden in de bossen, groot terras voor de deur, lijkt me heerlijk in de zomer. Heerlijk rustig met de geur van de natuur. Parkeren geen probleem.
- Conferentieoord, sommige deelnemers zijn wat luidruchtig, vooral in de bar. Het geheel voelt voor mij wat onpersoonlijk aan, van het voormalige klooster heb ik niets teruggevonden

“A good choice”
- Clean, very pleasant, efficiently organised, quiet and relaxing. Rooms are unfancy, but spotless, quiet comfortable and with nice bathrooms. The rooms would be ok to spend some time in if necessary, as they have enough room with a desk and a nice window overlooking the forest (I speak of course about my room only). The gym is nice and the spa is relaxing. The breakfast is perfectly nice. The surrounding forest is very relaxing. The foyer other parts of the hotel have a very nice presentation - not ultimate luxury but elegant and relaxing.
- 7km from my conference (Regina Coeli) is good and bad. I couldn't walk, but it's a fast drive or a pleasant 20 min ride with one of the Guldenberg's hired bikes. A sauna would make the spa very nice, even better if there was a swimming pool.
