The recreation park of Wiringherlant Hippolytushoef is located in an area with a long history. Holiday homes were already established here over 35 years ago. The current owner has maintained the original atmosphere of the recreation village, and the 15 attractive holiday homes certainly don't look out of place in this coastal region. The 'hotelhuys' is established in one of the villas in this small fishing village.

You can opt for a breakfast buffet set up near the reception, or for a breakfast hamper to be delivered to your room. The catering establishment 'Bij ons Thuys' is situated in the middle of the park. Bij ons Thuys has a pleasant, traditional Dutch bar, a good restaurant and a fast food area. You can enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace behind the restaurant, which offers a view of the small fishing village below the dyke. The terrace in front of the restaurant is larger and overlooks the playground.

The beautiful area surrounding Recreatiepark Wiringherlant offers excellent walking and cycling trails. Traces are still visible of a time prior to the former island's construction of the Amsteldiepdijk. A variety of activities are organised in high season, including mudflat walking. It's incredibly interesting to walk across the dry tidal flats, there are numerous bird species, and the seabed reveals some fascinating forms of life, like the lugworm. You can enjoy more nature still in the woods of the Robbenoordbos, planted in 1945 with a wide range of tree species.

Guests of Recreatiepark Wiringherlant can make use of the park's facilities. There is a reception, a restaurant, a fast food area, a launderette, a playground, table tennis, air trampoline, and a sports field. What's more, a range of activities are organised during the high season, including mudflat walking.
