Perfect location with shuttle to and from Schiphol

Very clean and quiet welcome drink included lovely buffet breakfast which was worth the additional euros. Very close to town of Hoofddorp, in which we needed to complete some banking.

Friendly staff at checkin late in the evening, good shuttle service to the airport, though we had to change bus half way.

Although it s supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel, the room clearly smelled of stale smoke The bathroom has fungus on the walls.

Staff, amazing, Breakfast brilliant, Boerepot .not really . Far cry from Hollandse pot. I suggest Pea soup. Worst. Dark rye bread .dutch Gouda . But place was great. Nico vd Stoop van Canada

I was brought to the airport by the shuttle of 5 45. That was almost something too late because of the security check at Schiphol that lasted too long to reach my plane that was to leave at 6 55.

Comfortable hotel

Staff were helpful. Fridge in room and tea and coffee making facilities. Mattress firm. Good nights sleep.

You had to take two buses to the hotel. However in total it took ok lay 15 minutes. It was a twin room.

Need to get basics right first

My room was indeed reserved the express checkout process, where invoices were delivered during the morning of check-out speeds up the entire check-out process.

There had been too many minor hiccups during my stay there. On my 2nd night, I found a strand of long hair in one of the supposedly clean small towels. I also had one clean towel stained with blue lotion, which I suspect is either the cleaning detergent, or shampoo. Were the towels new in 1st place On another occasion, the free shuttle service to BestWestern Hotel turned up late, with no reason or apology given. This meant we missed our 2nd shuttle service to Schipol airport. Then, I fo

The Hotel is ideally situated, close to Airport with access to Amsterdam by train. Near Bulb Park and many othrer attractions

Hoofddorp Bastion - convenient and great value for the price

Excellent shuttle service from and to Schiphol airport, very comfortable beds, most friendly staff. Just an excellent hotel for the price. Enjoyed the conversations with the shuttle bus drivers!

Remote control of the TV did not work (probably previous guests failed to inform the Reception to change the 2 AAA batteries!). Did not take breakfast at hotel but at airport at slightly lower price.

The bed was very nice, I slept well.

The hotel should be clear about it having TWO locations in Hoofddorp and that the location on Adrianahoeve 8 requires two shuttlebusses. One from the airport to the other bastion hotel in Hoofddorp and one from that hotel to the Adrianahoeve location. It is not fun to arrive at the first hotel only to be told you are at the wrong location and that you should take another shuttle. Not at 11 o'clock at night! The hotel knows very well this problem exists and should be absolutely clear about it. A

Good service but it needs a bit of a makeover

I must tell you that the male receptionist was very kind, professional, and helpful. he is a great asset to your hotel. I arrived at 11:00 am exhausted, after many hours of travel and was told that I could not check in until 3:00. He quickly realized that I was desperate to get a little rest and arranged to get into my room within 30 minutes of my arrival. I was so thankful. He served me a beer while I waited and engaged me in conversation.

At €199 per night, I was very upset that my room was not supplied with a hair dryer. Again, the receptionist quickly moved to find one for me, but his efforts were not successful. The hotel did not have one working hair dryer available. This seemed quite strange. I did not have a great impression upon arriving in the lobby, as it was quite rundown and in need of painting. I was actually quite unhappy about where I had landed but the kindness made my stay pleasant.

Conveniently located for travelers, close to the airport

Ridiculously small TV, poor channel selection, especially for guests who do not speak Dutch. Shower design - be prepared for flooding the area outside the showeR

The beds were comfortable and the meal,was fine. Sorry my Dutch is not good enough to answer all the questions.

The shuttle said 'yes' when my husband asked for Bastion Hoofddorp, but took us to Amsterdam airport hotel where we had to,wait another 30 minutes before a shuttle took us to our hotel. No hair dryers available and in the morning there was no hot water for showers so we had to fly back to America with no shower.

Not bad.

If you look for a place next to Amsterdam and the big citys around the location of Bastion is very good,you have parking for your car and transfer to the airport which is very very close.

I arived late in the night and the receptionist was really minimum agressive(girl). She was lucky i stayed calm. Next to my bed at the table under the light was very very dirty.

Price is competitive. Staff is very courteous. Wifi is free.

Location is somewhat of a long drive from the airport compared to other hotels. Bathroom is very basic, lacks even a soap.

Never will go there again

No plus points ...

There is no double Beth and it is not clearly advertise on the website. Sheet are to small and even don't close at the end of the Beth for the feet. There is Internet but all outgoing emails are blocked. Very bad place I will never recommend this and you will never see me again. In fact I want refund. I ask it at the desk but deny to answering me.

Good clean budget hotel but service & billing is an issue

Clean rooms, good budget hotel

poor service - i had to wait more than an hour after placing the order to finally get my dinner. that when there were hardly any people in the canteen billing - the first set of bill i got was totally incorrect. it had included breakfast charge for 2 people throughout the duration of my stay. however i had breakfast only once.. that too alone. after speaking to the manager, they corrected it.
