Van der Valk Hotel Houten - Utrecht is centrally located along the A27 motorway, on the edge of the village of Houten, near the city of Utrecht. The comfortable hotel is easily accessible by public transport, as well as by car. The building is shaped as a tower, no less than 60 metres high with magnificent views across the entire city of Utrecht.
A breakfast buffet is set up on weekdays from 06:30 until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 until 11:30. The restaurant has a modern design and offers an elaborate choice of à la carte dishes, including many seasonal dishes. There is a special menu for children. The Live Cooking restaurant is open on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 17:00. The bar is the perfect place for a drink, a bite to eat or an informal meeting.
Utrecht is a vibrant city. Its most distinct feature is the Dom tower, which is no less than 112 metres high. - The breakfast was delicious, the building was beautiful inside and well looked after, the service was great too
- the bed was not a double but two singles together, it would have been better if there was a topper on top hence the minus in comfort.

- This is a Top Hotel with all that you would expect from a Top Hotel, cleanliness all round and very comfortable beds and has excellent helpful staff and plenty of car park spaces, We always stay in Van Der Valk Hotels as there standards are very good, would highly recommend this Hotel, also must say that it has a great breakfast selection.

- Fantastic Breakfast. Large Room, Large Flat Screen TV with plenty of suitable channels. Whirlpool Bath, Use of Fridge, Renewed Drinks Water Toiletries daily. Large comfortable Bed. Large Barriered Car Park. Pleasant,efficient Staff.
- None really to worry about. The Breakfast was very busy and sometimes the Staff couldn t keep up with renewing Plates Bowls. When asked for a Larger Bowl the waitress was very short with her answer. No Pool or Gym if thats your thing
