“Service was weird, Unfriendly and unbending on even little things.”
- Beautiful decor. Nice location. Nice bar. I really wish that the staff had been nicer. I like the area very much. I wish my wife would have liked it enough to give it a second chance because we are in the area often. We will stay at the Newport again instead.
- Had to wait 30 minutes for receptionist to arrive. Weren't allowed to drop off our things but were told to park and have to bring things back. Just in general a weird reception. Left us feeling uneasy. It was probably because we arrived late. But we did call and say we would arrive when we did. Also when we wanted to add a night we were given a much higher rate for the second night. We stayed in another place for that night. The next day we asked for one hour extra on check out ans were refused

“Spectacular view, ideal location”
- This Fletcher hotel is delightful. Situated on the waterfront of the old Zuiderzee, it's a new hotel built to resemble an old Dutch fishing village - which it replaced. The rooms are modern and comfortable;e. The choices found at the breakfast buffet range from fruit, yogurt and eggs to lox, cream cheese and a variety of breads. There are a number of restaurants in the complex, all with terrace and indoor seating. The staff is fabulous - housekeeping even rushed to make our room available early
- No minuses A suggestion - it's a little confusing to locate the building with the registration desk. A sign at the top of the complex, or by the parking, would be helpful.
