The Efteling Hotel is entirely in keeping with a visit to the Efteling theme park. You're even allowed admission to the Efteling 15 minutes prior to the park's official opening times by means of a special gate; plus several attractions will already be open for you at this point. The Efteling lies right next to the hotel. This hotel is perfect for children as it exudes the magical atmosphere of a world of wonders. And in summer you can take a seat on the hotel's outdoor terrace after a lovely day at the Efteling theme park, which is open 365 days a year.

An extensive breakfast buffet is served at the hotel every morning. Restaurant De Hoffelijke Heraut offers à la carte dining. Highchairs and children's menus are also available. You are recommended to make reservations in advance.

Naturally, the Efteling Hotel is the perfect place to rest your head after a great day at the theme park. Other parks in the area include the Efteling Golf Park and Safari Park Beekse Bergen. The historic fortress town of Heusden and the picturesque town of Oisterwijk are within easy reach of Kaatsheuvel, as are larger cities such as Breda, Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch. “The hotel is beautiful. The scenery is gorgeous. ”

Excellent service - the crew is very friendly (actually all Dutch people are) and ready to help you in any way. Very comfortable and large beds. Tranquil atmosphere. Non smoking hotel. Definitely, the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Efteling Park.
The minus point is that it is a little expensive. But still, we ve got a deal for 2 nights-stay in the hotel with 3 entrances to the park.

Very nice hotel, great especially for kids. Super close to the park, not the main entrance, so you will miss the huge entrance, but you can walk there later. Nice rooms, with little surprises for the little ones. Great breakfast, also a lot for kids
The babybed was a bit weak (we did not use it, our 3 year old wanted to sleep in a big bed

“My daughter wants to come again to Eftling and to this hotel”

Child's dream comes true in this hotel. Very nicly smiling people. Great team put up quality show in the lobby. Breakfast was designed for kids. Beautiful Wonder Water suite. Plenty of candy. Good bar with nice choise of beer for parents.
Don't see any. It was just perfect. People of Nederlands should be proud of the Eftling. Thanks.

Very friendly and helpfull staff especially towards the children, thank you - very good restaurant and service
no window in the bathroom - very dark bathroom with poor light fittings

“Going to Efterling Park? This is the place to stay...”

If you wish to visit de Efterling Park then this hotel is perfectly situated nearby. If you can call ahead try to reserve the themed suites they offer, worth the money for a bit of magic in your stay. My girlfriend is a celiac and cannot eat gluten, the hotel restaurant was very good at providing glten free food. ***** Service for gluten free.
When the park closes at 6 find out if there is a quicker way back to the hotel.

being close to rides and being able to get in before other guests
gate to hotel at playground closing at 6.30 should stay open till 7 to allow time to walk out at leisure

“Great location if visiting the amusement park.”

Perfect for a day or 2 at the park.
The beds were very soft and caused us to sink into the middle. It's very dated and could do with a big update.

“A great alternative to Disneyland”

A comfortable and friendly place to stay with children which is ideally located for access to the Efteling theme park. The hotel is well served by regular local buses that take you to either of the nearest major train stations.
The hotel and theme park are much busier on Fridays and weekends and the breakfast service is clearly under pressure on these days. Basic breakfast items often temporarily run out and you can find yourself waiting around before they are replenished.
