“Road-side hotel”
- Friendly reception.
- The room was extremely hot (even when having both windows opened night day). Bar was rather brusquely closed.

“Needs more maintenance to deserve the 4 stars”
- Looks nice from the outside!
- The pool was dirty, had a used plaster and some debris in the water and badly maintained. The window on my room did not lock. The Comfort rooms are in a seperate block of the hotel, of which the entrance door was wide open, no staff there and the corridor was dark so it felt insecure. The rooms are badly sound proofed, they echo with the noise of the corridor, the road and the other rooms. Was given a voucher for breakfast which I thought was a nice touch, only to be charged 16 Euro extra for a slice of omelette as the rest of breakfast didn't look very appertising.

- Bar and dining room recently refurbished - very modern. Free parking
- Room right next to noisy wedding reception and toilets disturbed sleep the first night. Room decor very tatty and dated. Housekeeping did not knock before entering the room several times - not acceptable!

“How poor hygiene can spoil your holiday!!”
- Within very close distance of Maastricht (by car!). Comfortable rooms!
- Eventhough the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a distinctive bad smell. At first glance it looked clean, but the toilet seat had accumulated scale and impurities! It really spoiled the generally good impression!!
