“strange layout”
- The room we had was lovely, very clean and well maintained. Beds were extremely comfortable.
- Room was strange layout with huge metal poles in the center. Refrigerator was not cold at all.

“A great base to explore from”
- The location was super convenient for exploring Amsterdam via the train station next door. No noise from the trains, and when going by foot to explore Leiden it was very central.
- Going up and down in the lifts- they were quick, but it was tedious going up and down ten floors a number of times a day.

- Excellent location beside Leiden Centraal and the LUMC. Staff were very nice.
- Breakfast could have more items I guess. Also, there is not a pack with information in the room (or I couldn t find it) so I did not make dinner on time (

- 23C is too arm for sleeping. I would suggest lowering the room temperature a bit for sleeping. When one can t open the windows the room feels stuffy with a 23C temperature at night. Yoy need a small sign to alert guests that they can drive into the restricted buss only lane to get to the underground garage. We drove around several times because pedestrians told us we couldn t drive in there because we would get a ticket.

“Fitland Hotel Stay”
- Very Friendly Service staff, Food is excellennt
- No Signs for the Hotel. Went Around Lieden 6 times and GPS kept taking me to Bus only lane at the Medical College which is illegal to go down and no way to turn around. If their was a sign directing you to go down the bus lane to the car park for the Fitland that would of resolved a additional hour trying to find the hotel. Only 1 elevator to from the ground level to the rooms. Rooms and restaurants do not have air conditioning. Hotel rooms were very warm and marked it very hard to sleep.

- The room and the bath room are modern and very well organized. The location of the hotel is very good for travelling all over the country too.
- there is only one door common to the WC and the shower so that when the WC door is closed the shower is open. Both can t be closed at the same time.

“A lovely hotel-except for the lift arrangement.”
- The swimming pool. Wonderful over the roofs of Leiden.
- The lift arrangement was a joke. Obviously the architects fitted them afterwards. When we went to have breakfast in the Level 2 restaurant the staff were not very welcoming and helpful. Standing around and chatting amongst each other. Our room was exactly beside the gym. The noise from weights dropping on the floor were too loud early in the morning.
