The unusual water lodge of De Aalscholver and Hotel Ark are incredibly multifunctional offering an an inspiring place to stay for nature lovers, business guests, families with children and those simply travelling through. Aalscholver Lodge consists of four spacious rooms, two of which come with a veranda and a charming view of the area's scenic beauty comprising woods and lakes. The rooms are equipped with a comfortable bed and come with a spacious bathroom with a shower. Hotel Ark offers seven attractive, uniquely furnished rooms; all of which come with a bathroom with a bath. Moreover, the subtle lapping of water outside is sure to contribute to a good night's rest.

An elaborate breakfast buffet is available at De Aalscholver from Monday through Friday from 06:00 until 12:00, on Saturday from 07:00, and on Sunday from 08:00. It's also possible to order a small dish or dinner at the restaurant, open daily until 22:00. De Aalscholver does not have a bar.

De Aalscholver is situated by the A6 motorway between Lelystad and Almere. Its location makes it excellently accessible by car. Sporty guests are also able to cycle to the hotel, for instance a cycling path through the Ooievaarsplas area will lead you from the Hajé restaurants to Lelystad, Zeewolde and Harderwijk. The surrounding nature-abundant area is simply perfect for long walks, bike rides and canoe trips.
