Hotel De Lange Jammer is located on the former work island of Lelystad near the 'Markermeer' lake. The hotel is established in the former restaurant of the island. The rooms are equipped with a television, free Internet, a refrigerator, telephone and a shower or bath.
The breakfast buffet is set up on Monday through Friday between 06:30 and 09:30 h. and from 08:30 to 10:30 h. on the weekend.There is no restaurant in the hotel. One can visit the city centre of Lelystad for dinner or a drink.
The 'Oostvaardersdijk' leads all the way from Hotel De Lange Jammer to the magnificent 'Oostvaardersplassen', where many species of birds have found their home. In the area there are several observation huts. The nature area 'Natuurpark Lelystad' houses animals such as deer, otters and hogs, that can be spotted during a walk or bicycle ride.

- Big rooms. Great confort. Nice breakfast. Great location near the sea.
- The only small minus point is that we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive. There is not someone permanently in the hotel.
