The Green Elephant Hostel is within walking distance of the centre and around the corner from the nearest bus and train station. It's therefore easy to see Maastricht's top sights and attractions. Enjoy great shopping or a nice cup of coffee with a slice of cake at one of the plentiful outdoor cafés. Free bike hire is available at the hostel, making it easy to get from A to B.
Food and Drink
The restaurant Serendipity at The Green Elephant Hostel is open throughout the day. You can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet here with fresh fruit, vegetables, cereals, freshly squeezed juices and lots of other breakfast items. Do you have a food allergy? No problem! All allergies can be taken into account. A fully equipped kitchen is available to guests wishing to purchase their own ingredients and cook their own meals. And you'll find plenty of nice bistros and restaurants near the hostel for a drink and a bite to eat.

Travelling alone november 2019
The service was very good and the food was one of the highlights. Moreover the bathroom was very good and there was also enough privacy.
The room I stayed at was way to little for the price I payed. The heating system was also broken for a while, there was a lot of humidity in the room during the night.
