Stayokay Hostel is well-positioned on the banks of the river Meuse in the heart of Maastricht. The Onze Lieve Vrouwe (Our Blessed Lady) square with its beautiful basilica is within walking distance. The historic city has many charming streets with beautiful buildings and small exclusive shops.
Maastricht is a historic city with many beautiful buildings, but it is also a great city for shopping. There are many shops, ranging from exclusive boutiques to large department stores. Outside Maastricht, you can explore the Limburg hills through the various walking and cycling paths. Towns such as Valkenburg and Aachen (in Germany) are also certainly worth a visit.
The hostel has 38 rooms, including four, five and six-person rooms. The rooms are basic, yet tastefully furnished with trendy with bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom featuring a shower and toilet. Bedding is included in the room price, towels are available to rent at the reception.

“A nice place to stay with nice people and views, I recommend it!”
- It is a cheap and confortable hotel, with nice people always making you feel ok. There are films, good breakfast, dancing party on Fridays, free wifi, the views are very nice... a good place! I just regrette not to have been in the terrace because of the cold. No doubt I recommend it!
- Salsa party on Fridays was very nice however I understand that people who wanted to dream was disturbed. There were people partying until 5 am and nocking at our room at 5 so it could be fine to limit the partying in some way.

- really slow wifi, you pay 1.50 per 15 min. they change our room -move our staff without letting us know.

- The towels available to hire were hand towels not bath size, not really suitable for drying yourself in the shower, take your own. Rooms could be cleaner.

- The location is great and the staff were very helpful and nice. I felt it was a bit overpriced for the type of room I got, with this money I might have had the chance to book a hotel for less.
- The toilet was not very nice and it smells not very nice.

- New clean, spacious hostel. Well run, with a great breakfast and nice bar. Our room was really nice with a few of the river. Would definitely stay there again.
- Those plastic hygiene mattresses are mank; even with a sheet covering it, the mattress makes you sweat like a pedophile in playground. The superdooper energy saving showers are also really annoying cos you have to keep pressing a button every thirty seconds to make the water pour.

- excellent location, rooms with river maas view and nice window seats. basic, but all you need to see the city. clean.

- 1.bedrag reservering en betaald bedrag kwamen niet overeen. zal terug worden betaald. 2.raam kamer stond open en vanwege temp. onder vriespunt was kamer erg koud. cv te weinig capaciteit om het op te warmen 3.lamp werkt met sensor en flikkerde steeds
