Hotel Brasserie Oud Maren is established in a characteristic building in the picturesque village of Maren-Kessel. This homely family-run hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the Brabant countryside. It's possible to go for walks and cycling trips along the nearby river Maas. The towns of Den Bosch and Oss are only a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

A breakfast buffet is served weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00 (from 06:00 on request), and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:30. The brasserie is open daily for dinner from 17:00 until 21:00.

The Lithse Ham park is a unique river park offering plenty of recreational facilities including sandy beaches and a terrace overlooking the marina. Motorboats and fishing boats are available for hire. Nearby scenic areas include the Hemelrijkse Waard and Fort Andries. The friendly provincial capital of Den Bosch is great for shopping, a canal cruise, visiting the St Jans Cathedral or walking along the fortifications. The gardens of Appeltern are also certainly worth visiting.

The hotel has 17 rooms in total; 15 rooms feature a single box-spring bed and 2 rooms a double box-spring bed. All rooms come with an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a flatscreen television, free WiFi, a desk and a wardrobe. All rooms offer tea and coffee facilities.
