Hotel de Sprenck is established in a gorgeous listed building just outside the historic centre of Middelburg. After a short walk along the Seisvest canal and past the water tower, you'll be in the centre within 10 minutes. Once there you can go shopping, relax on one of the outdoor terraces, or climb the abbey tower 'Lange Jan' (Long John).

Every morning, a wonderful breakfast awaits you. It is served from 07:00 until 10:00 on weekdays, and from 08:00 until 10:00 at the weekend. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but that shouldn't be a problem. Middelburg is full of lovely cafés and restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner.

Middelburg is a city with a long history. This is still evident thanks to the many bastions that made up the city's old line of defence, but also in the shape of the abbey tower 'Lange Jan' (Long John). After climbing up the tower's 207 steps, an amazing view over the whole city becomes visible. Exploring Middelburg can be done on foot, by bike, or even on water by taking a round trip. For children, visiting miniature amusement park Mini Mundi is highly recommended. The rest of the Walcheren peninsula can also easily be reached from the hotel. It only takes a 15-minute drive to get to the coastal cities of Vlissingen and Veere.
