WestCord Hotel Noordsee is a comfortable 4-star hotel on the beautiful West Frisian Island of Ameland. The hotel is centrally located close to the village of Nes, where the ferry moors. The hotel has 54 Comfort Rooms and 24 Comfort Deluxe Rooms. All rooms are comfortably furnished and come with a bathroom with a bath/shower and a separate toilet, 2 separate box-spring beds, a spacious sitting area and a balcony or a patio. The hotel also has Family Rooms, which are particularly suited to a longer stay. These rooms come with a living room with an open plan kitchen and 2 bedrooms, including 1 bedroom with bunkbeds. Activities are organised during school holidays for children aged 2 - 12 years old. The hotel has a playground and a babysitting service is available on request.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available on Monday to Friday from 08:00 until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 until 10:30. Restaurant Vincenzo guarantees a culinary evening allowing you to enjoy well-prepared dishes with an emphasis on international cuisine. The restaurant is suitable for guests of all ages. There is also a special children's menu. You can take a seat in the hotel's Grand Café, where you can enjoy a delicious drink. It is also possible to order a packed lunch at the hotel at a cost of €9.50 per person (prices are subject to change).

WestCord Hotel Noordsee is located on the edge of the village of Nes, on the island of Ameland. The ferry terminal lies to the south of the village; where the ferry sails to Holwerd on the Dutch mainland. The island has 27 kilometres of beaches and no less than 100 kilometres of cycling paths; allowing you to easily explore the beautiful, white sandy beaches and the rich natural beauty of the island. The island hosts the Ameland Art Month in November. Many national and international artists display their work on the island during this festival.

The hotel is within walking distance of both the North Sea and the Wadden Sea beaches. The island of Ameland is known for its wonderful natural beauty. On the eastern side of the island you'll find the Oerd nature reserve, a swampy area which is the habitat of many species of birds. Ameland has four villages, Nes, Buren, Hollum and Ballum as well as a wonderful diverse landscape with beaches, mudflats, dunes, heaths and meadows.
