The deluxe design hotel De Roode Schuur is rurally situated on the outskirts of Nijkerk in the Veluwe region. The hotel's design is a combination of modern and rustic. The rooms are decorated in eight different themes and come with twin beds, a flatscreen television, free WiFi, a bathroom with a double wash basin, a spacious shower, delightful Rituals products and a hair dryer, a seating area, a desk and air conditioning.
Just 20 metres from the hotel is Moeke Nijkerk, where you can have lunch or dinner. Rather have a drink at the bar? That's fine too! The hotel is also an official wedding and events venue.
Surroundings
Hotel De Roode Schuur is centrally located between the Veluwe woods and the Eemland region. The diverse landscape is great for all sorts of activities, including walking and cycling through the heathlands and woods. Other possible excursions include the Apenheul monkey zoo, the Dolfinarium, Walibi theme park and Het Loo Palace, all of which are a 30-minute drive away. If you fancy a day of shopping, simply head to Amersfoort; a charming town with many bars and restaurants. What's more, golf lovers can practice their swing on the golf course in Putten.

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:00.
Moeke Nijkerk is situated next to the hotel. This well-loved restaurant is open for a cup of coffee, a sandwich, or to tuck into a meal prepared in Moeke's kitchen. You can also enjoy a nice drink here, and it's great place to meet people. The charming outdoor terrace provides a lovely spot during nice weather, and should it unexpectedly start to rain, the flexible roof will keep you dry.

Mooie, ruime schone kamer met heerlijk ligbad en grote douche.
Het ontbijt moesten we ophalen bij de receptie. Het was erg karig. Geen afgebakken broodjes, maar zachte broodjes, een koud ei en een pakje Appelsientje. Had ik veel meer van verwacht..

A fresh, modern, comfortable, interior with a unique rural "barn style" exterior. Very comfortable with the on-site resteraunt food quality superb! Also very good for travelling with a small child.
The daily housekeeping was at times a little disappointing.
