Hotel & Spa – Paping Ommen has a stylish café. You can enjoy lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The hotel also offers a spacious garden that borders the scenic woody area of 'Het Laar'. All hotel rooms come with a bathroom with a shower and/or bath and a toilet, a television, a desk and Internet.
A breakfast buffet is set up in the restaurant between 07:00 and 10:00 on weekdays and between 07:30 and 10:00 at weekends. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Next to the regular menu you can also opt for a 3-course menu; created daily by the head chef. The kitchen is open every day until 21:00.
In the scenic area of Overijssels Vechtdal, you can enjoy wonderful bike rides, passing picturesque villages and heaths, the sand dirft area of the 'Sahara' and old castles along the way. The Ommerbos and the centuries-old Laerbos woods are beautiful to walk through. Country Club Hooge Graven, which consists of 18-hole and 9-hole golf courses, is just a few kilometers from Hotel & Spa – Paping Ommen.
The extensive sauna landscape is accessible from 10:00 onwards for an entrance fee. It offers a large indoor sauna with colour therapy, a spacious Finnish outdoor sauna, an outdoor whirlpool, a cold plunge pool, a Turkish steam bath with colour and aroma therapy, a short wave infrared cabin, and an Arctic lavender sauna. Furthermore, you can make use of the large resting areas as well as the characteristic welness garden that includes a sun terrace, solarium and a professional beauty salon.
- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Please contact reception in advance if you wish to check in after 23:30. A later arrival is possible on request.
- The sauna is open daily until 22:30; on Monday to Saturday from 10:00 and on Sunday from 11:30. The swimming pool is open daily from 08:00 until 22:30. Swimwear is only permitted in the swimming pool until 12:00. Swimwear is not permitted in the sauna.
- Every last Monday of the month it's ladies only between 10:00 and 17:00.

“Relaxen en genieten”
- Lieve medewerkers. Fijne spa faciliteiten en goed ontbijt. Gezellige haardvuurtjes in de bar van het restaurant en in de bar van de spa. Verschillende tapbieren.
- Het restaurant van het hotel is dicht, dus niet alles onder een dak. Wat kledinghaakjes in de hotelkamer was handig geweest voor een jas, vochtige badjas en handdoek. Badkleding in de sauna blijft vreemd, maar voor toeristen wellicht beter.

“Nudist health spa or family hotel?”
- We stayed here because of an activity involving our older son, so had not chosen the location for holiday alone. The area is quiet, rural and delightful (though not packed with tourist attractions), but Dutch trains are so efficient that it is easy to travel to Utrecht or to the wonderful Dolphinarium at Harderwijk. The hotel was clean, bright and the restaurant very pleasant. The staff, like all the Dutch, were kind and helpful (the manager coming out to the station to hand me the train tickets I\\\'d left behind!), and like all the Dutch, spoke excellent English.
- It was, however, intolerably hot: we arrived in a heat wave but when the weather changed the room temperature did not. Our room, we think, was over the sauna, and the \\\"air conditioning\\\" - an elderly wall mounted fan - was both inadequate and noisy. \r\n\r\nWe were also taken aback by the nude swimming pool. We thought it was a family hotel (I gather it used to be) but it is in fact a health spa catering for nudists. Our children were amused rather than shocked, but our 12-year-old was determined to go in the pool, clothes or otherwise, and was treated with some strange looks from guests who were clearly not expecting to encounter a small boy. We were the only family with children staying there, and felt we had come to the wrong place. I think the hotel should decide what it wants to be, because there are some practical problems as well as social problems with the mix of family accommodation and steamy \\\"health\\\" pursuits.

- We chose this hotel for its nearness to the railway and it was indeed very close. The other plus was the incredible kindness of the staff when there was a hitch with payment of the bill. They let me use their computer to sort it out.. which fortunately it very quickly was. The breakfasts were brilliant and the one dinner we had was very nice too; it took a bit of time to eat it, which was just as well, since there was a lot of it.
- The view was not brilliant - kitchen waste area and there would have been less noise from the railway engineering work at night had we been at the back. Another small minus point was that only teaspoons were provided for eating cornflakes

- Open haard Dicht bij station Heel vriendelijk personeel We kregen een andere kamer vanwege de muggen (hielp niet, helaas) Sauna & Beauty salon zit in hetzelfde gebouw, maar verder niet merkbaar. Restaurant rookvrij & smakelijk.
- Er waren muggen op de kamer, in november. Was voor hun ook ongewoon. Zwembad na 12 uur \'s ochtends verplicht zonder badkleding. Grand cafe niet rookvrij
