Breakfast is served daily in the hotel's pleasant breakfast area from 08:15 to 12:00 h. Breakfast can also be served in your room after 10:00 h.The hotel has its own restaurant and there are various places to eat in the direct vicinity, offering something for every taste and price range.You can enjoy drinks from 10:00 to 23:00 h in the attractive lounge with an open hearth, by means of a self service buffet.

Hotel de Bosrand Vlieland lies on the eastern side of the island, a kilometre from where the ferry arrives. The Richel sandbar, a vast and barren plain, is located in this region. The 40-metre high Vuurboetsduin is the highest dune on the island. It was formed by dominant westerly winds swooping across the huge supply of sand on de Vliehors. The village of Oost-Vlieland lies in the lee of this dune, where there are several historic buildings to admire. The earliest record of this village dates from 1245. Good food and entertainment go hand in hand with the ambience of yesteryear, and there are many outdoor terraces, shops and cosy cafés to discover.
