You can easily cycle from the hotel to the woods, past the lighthouse and towards the dunes. You'll come across many spots with access to the beach along the way.

“Enjoyed the stay but room product overpriced”
- Breakfast service in a nice area with pleasant service. The public arae pf the hotel are nice and well maintained
- Room product is overpriced for the size of the rooms TV only one channel and in this time and age this TV should be replaced. Radio out of order. The main issue is the boat trip from Harlingen Haven to Vlieland. I believe that the hotels should warn their guests that there are limited boats and limited seating on these boats. We wasted one night accommodation, because we could only take the 7.00am ferry on Monday during the day. This is very different to other islands which will have hourly ferry services and you will get on the next one. Another idea is that the ferry operator will make a covered walk way the terminal bulding to the boat, so guests are not exposed to heavy rain, prior entering the boat and same applies to the other site from the boat to the railway station.
