WestCord Hotel de Wadden is located in the centre of Vlieland. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, and you can even choose a room with a seaview. The hotel has its own seafood restaurant, a café and a brasserie.

A delicious breakfast buffet is served at the hotel every morning from 08:30 until 10:00. The buffet consists of fresh rolls, scrambled eggs, bacon and a good selection of sandwich spreads, cheeses, sliced meats and hot and cold drinks. The hotel's seafood restaurant, 'Visrestaurant de Wadden', is open from 17:00 until 23:00, where you can sit back and enjoy delicious dishes in an informal environment, accompanied by a good glass of wine. During the day you can enjoy lunch, a cup of coffee or a nice drink at Eetcafé `t Praethuys, which is open from 11:00 until 23:00. And why not round off your day with a nice drink at Café de Zeevaert, which opens at 21:00.

The hotel is situated on Dorpstraat in Oost-Vlieland, the built up area of the island. The back of the hotel enjoys a view of the dyke and the Wadden Sea, while the hotel's direct vicinity offers a friendly village centre, woods, heathlands, sea, beach and dunes. Both the harbour, where the ferry lands, and the marina can be reached on foot. A trip to the 40-metre high 'Vuurboetduin' dune, with its lighthouse is also easy to undertake on foot. As Vlieland is a car-free island, it's wonderfully relaxing to expore it by bike. Bikes are available for hire at the hotel or at a bike hire company.
