Vlieland is a lovely island where you can abundantly enjoy sun, sea, beach and tranquillity. Cycle over the shell paths along the lighthouse, through the woods and the dunes and breathe the wonderful sea air. A trip with the Vliehors Expres over the western sand plain is also higly recommended.

Breakfast is served daily between 08:30 and 10:00 h. You can enjoy dinner at the restaurant, the menu includes fresh pizzas, pastas and spareribs. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 18:00. In the hotel bar you can have a drink from 17:00 to 22:00 h.

Beach, woods, a lovely main street with shops and restaurants, dozens of kilometers of bicycle paths: Vlieland has it all. Get a breath of fresh air during a nice walk on the beach or take a dip in the sea. Hotel Rispens is located in the main street Dorpsstraat, where you can rent a bike to explore the island. The ferry terminal is within walking distance.

“Very enjoyable overnight stay on Vlieland”

We had a lovely room that opened out onto the back patio with little tables and chairs. We were able to sit out and enjoy the evening sun. Comfortable beds and the luxury of a bath which filled quickly with hot water. Good breakfast. Excellent location on main street in Oost Vlieland, five minutes from the ferry.
General ambience more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel to an English person. Not a minus so long as you are not expecting more facilities.
