Hotel De Bilderberg is situated on the outskirts of Oosterbeek, in a green setting with impressive oak trees. The hotel has a large terrace where it's lovely to sunbathe and relax. “Lovely stay at a lovely hotel just a few things that should be better”

The beds are the most comfortable i have every stayed in, this is my 5th time at this hotel and the beds are the same every year. Honestly amazing. Staff are friendly and nice and were very understanding when there was a mix up with our room. Location is beautiful.
The breakfast has been better in past years. There is not much of a hot breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato. For the additional price you pay i would expect sausages and even beans or mushrooms. The continental side is ok. The Sauna was not very hot and the steam road did not work the time we went in, last year this was a great bonus to the visit. We had to keep finding someone to serve drinks outside, again the last few years this was always an easy task. No tea and coffee in our r

“Lovely location for decent money although not as good as previous year”

Very comfortable clean. Staff very polite. Beautiful location, hygienic clean.
Swimming pool was colder than previous years the steam room sauna were not working correctly on the Friday. No sausages for breakfast. 17 per person for breakfast, needs sausages

Great location backing onto woods with walks and cycle routes. Very good breakfast and a good choice of two restaurants. Well appointed, comfortable rooms. Courteous and helpful staff but not all wonderful in the mornings (like most of us). Large capacity Taxis available from reception.
Everything was at least adequate it depends how fussy you are my only real minus point was that there was some business convention on at this made the corridor noise excessive at times when I really wanted quite but it was not awful and short lived.

“Lovely Stay, Clean, Peaceful & Relaxing”

Very Friendly Staff at Check In & in the Restrauent Very Helpful Beds & Pillows very clean & comfortable. Breakfast very good. Lots of Parking Space Really enjoyed our short stay & will return again.

“Excellent location, but potential to be so much better than it is”

Location, potential to be a fantastic hotel, some elements of decor very attractive, light meals available on terrace very acceptable, breakfasts quite good and not too expensive compared with other hotels.
Bed too soft, wi-fi extortionately expensive, room TV had BBC2 working properly but BBC1 was a blank screen, service a bit marginal (at reception on arrival, they only got my room issued correctly at the third attempt!), , some bits of hotel not revamped with the rest e.g. rattly old lifts, room doors seem left over from 1970s, feeling that management not fully on top of the job, value marginal.

“Possibly the best of the group!”

The staff were friendly and helpful, a very helpful girl at reception even found me a cell phone charger, when I lost mine. Breakfast is excellent, as are the dinners and snacks.
Tea/coffee in the room would be nice.

“Enjoyable stay, curteous and friendly staff. We would stay again”

The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and unpressurised. If we return to Oosterbeek we would certainly stay again.
On the Sunday evening our room was a little bit cold although we acknowledge that the weather generally had turned very cold the day previously. To be honest we wondered if the heating had been reduced because the hotel was much emptier after the Sunday when most people had left.

“Very comfortable hotel in lovely grounds”

Lovely location and grounds. Food at buffet meal on first night was very good and price, which include two glasses of wine, was quite reasonable. Breakfast was excellent. Liked the artistic glass pieces on display in public areas.
Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities which are only available in 'upgraded' rooms. Disappointed that on our second morning we were unable to get a table in either restaurant for that night and lack of suitable tables and chairs in lounge area made bar menu unattractive proposition. Also service in lounge area was slow and disorganised. (We went without a meal that night and made do with snacks we had in our room.)

“High quality all round”

Excellent for comfort and service; helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff; good dining facilities (on the expensive side!)
Internet access charges are VERY expensive at 10 euro per hour/23 euro per 24 hour!! As a top rate hotel this should be free for all guests, as in many other hotels that I stay in. High internet charges seem to have replaced the expensive phone scam many hotels used to operate
