The apartment hotel is situated between the villages Hoorn and Oosterend, only 3 kilometres from the North Sea beach. Both villages have a beach pavillion (Kaap Hoorn and Heartbreak Hotel), where you can go for a drink. Since there is little traffic, you have ample room to relax and rest. For your convenience the park offers a laundromat and bicycle rental.

Each morning the extensive breakfast buffet is set up in the restaurant between 08:30 and 10:30 h. In your apartment you can prepare your own meal, or visit one of the nearby restaurants. In Hoorn you will for instance find café-restaurant De Groene Weide which is managed by the locally famous singer Hessel. Hoorn also houses a tapas restaurant. In the village Oosterend you can have a stylish dinner in restaurant De Heeren van der Schelling.

Cycling and walking enthusiasts will appreciate the nature of reserve De Boschplaat, that lies close to Vakantiepark Tjermelân. Visit the sheep farm De Zeekraal or make a tour on a tilt-cart. Nice shops and restaurants can be found in West-Terschelling, which is only a bike ride away. In summer, the island hosts the large theatre festival Oerol, which attracts many visitors.

The two-room apartments, that are located on the ground floor, have a cosy living room with a sitting area and a television, and the kitchen offers a 4-head gas cooker. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and a bath tub. There is a separate bedroom and some apartments have a private sauna. All two-room apartments are on ground level, and they have a patio with a seat.
