Oosterleek is a quiet little village within a 20-minute drive of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Cycle over the dyke and see the ships on the Markermeer lake and admire the diverse landscape of orchards, tulip fields, cattle grazing on the meadows, and picturesque villages with typical West-Frisian farmhouses. At the Zuiderzee Museum Enkhuizen you can find out all about the history and the future of the Zuiderzee, including traditional skills such as smoking fish and making nets.
