Hotel Dekkers lies in the centre of the peaceful Brabant village of Ossendrecht, in the Brabantse Wal area, where walkers and culture-lovers can indulge themselves. Behind the hotel are the vast woods of the Pottenbergen. There is a lockable bike shed and bikes are available to hire. The reception offers a wide selection of walking and cycling routes. All routes start and finish at Hotel Dekkers. The hotel also has an outdoor terrace.

A wonderful and extensive breakfast buffet awaits guests in the breakfast room between 06:00 and 10:00 on weekdays, and between 08:00 and 10:00 at weekends. The lovely restaurant is a nice place to pass the time. You can enjoy a tasty lunch here between 12:00 and 14:00, and dinner is served in the evening from 19:00 onwards. Apart from the regular menu there are also two daily 3-course menus on offer. There is a café for those who fancy a drink in the evening, which features a good billiards table for keen players who simply can't resist a game. The café is open from 10:00 until midnight. Weather permitting, guests can also sit outside on the terrace.

With Hotel Dekkers Ossendracht as a base, there are many excursions available. At the Den Aanwas museum you can see relics of Princess Pauline, the shortest woman in history. The exuberant and cultural city of Bergen op Zoom lies within a few kilometres of the hotel, where you can visit the Markiezenhof Museum or St. Gertrude's Church. During nice weather it's possible to swim and surf on the Oosterschelde, or take a boat trip to Antwerp.
