Bastion Hotel Roosendaal is located in the middle of the small city Roosendaal. Those who enjoy an afternoon of shopping will enjoy Roosendaal, which has the new outlet shopping centre 'Rosada'. The vibrant city of Breda is approximately 15 kilometres away from the hotel, where you can enjoy the Burgundian way of life that is typical of the province Brabant. Great restaurants and night-life venues make this city well-worth visiting. All of it is set against a magnificent historic backdrop. The A58 and A7 motorways are only 5 minutes away by car. The town of Moerdijk and the airport 'Seppe' can be easily reached as well. There is also a good public transportation connection to the hotel. From Roosendaal Station it is only a few minutes' walk to the hotel.
The continental breakfast buffet it set up every weekday from 06:00 h. in the breakfast area. Guest can have breakfast until 09:00 h. and, if needed, order a packed lunch. In weekends breakfast is set up from 07:00 till 10:30 h.The hotel has an atmospheric restaurant with an extensive à la carte menu, which boasts dishes from various international cuisines. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner from 11:00 to 23:00 h. Guests can also pay a visit to the hotel bar for a nice drink. For billiards enthusiasts the hotel has a pool room. The bar is open daily until 23:30 h. On Wednesday the staff organise a special football- or film evening for guests of the hotel.
One historic town near Bastion Hotel Roosendaal is Bergen op Zoom. This town has small streets, atmospheric squares, and houses with charming gables, which always attract visitors. Especially the numerous monuments of this fortress town attract a lot of tourists. The city palace 'Markiezenhof', for example, is definitely worth visiting. Some of the theme parks near the hotel are 'De Efteling' and safari park 'De Beekse Bergen'.

- I expected a bathroom with an bath as I booked on Hotels.nl . Bit noizy along the motorway inspite off the dubbel windows

- The English breakfast was awful. Both bacon and eggs were over cooked and any Englishman would be put right off. Proper back bacon should be used with real eggs instead of out of a packet. Preferably cooked to order. Sorry!
