Hotel Baan, close to Rotterdam city centre, is pleasantly situated on the banks of the Coolhaven with a lovely view of the Historic Delfshaven and the Euromast. You'll certainly encounter hospitality and a good atmosphere at Hotel Baan; all for an excellent price. The hotel is easily accessible by car as well as by public transport.
Surroundings
Situated on the corner of 'Rochussenstraat' and 'Jongkindstraat' is Huis Sonneveld, a residential house that has been turned into a museum. It is one of the best preserved houses constructed in the modern Dutch architectural style. Here you can experience what it was like to live in an ultramodern house in 1933. Many other sights and attractions, such as the Euromast, are also located in the direct vicinity.

Parking directly for the door free of charge between 18.00 and 10.00 Very kind managers. Secure hotel. Wifi free. Very great breakfast. But most and for all quiet. Dobrý hotel doporu?uji.

Wi-Fi at a very good speed absolutely free of charge.
The hotel charges you EXTRA if you pay by credit card (sic!) - an ubelievable 8% of the price!!! A pactice I have never seen anywhere else in the world.

Breakfast is good. The room is clean and comformtable.
Location is far from metro or tram. Direction to the hotel is not clear. The day that I arrived the tram station was closed but there was no notification from the hotel so I could not get off at the station as in hotel's direction. I have to walk very far to find the hotel. Another minus point is the stair way is very narrow and there is no elevator. It's not suit if you have large luggage with you.

A wonderful value for money hotel. Excellent location to walk into Rotterdam and one Tram journey away from the train station. The nearby Delfshaven provides good quality restaurants for affordable prices. Also, if you mention the hotel to the restaurants they will reward you with discounts.
The free wireless internet was an added bonus.

Rather good breakfast.
Everything quite clean.
Good price (but only for Rotterdam in comparison with other hotels).
The front door locks and can enter only those who know the code, a thing that would somehow contribute to the quiet atmosphere, but in some cases this can be considered a minus.
Very close to the subway.
Thin walls - so you can very well hear your neighbor coughing.
No elevator and the stairs a very narrow thus is very hard to get your luggage on an upper floor.

The price. The staff was very friendly.
The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom wasn\'t exactly luxurious, but you won\'t get much better for the price.
