Van der Valk Hotel Rotterdam Blijdorp lies within walking distance of Diergaarde Blijdorp Zoo, one of the Netherlands' most popular zoos. Visitors of all ages can admire its many animal residents. Rotterdam city centre is just 3 kilometres from the hotel, boasting architectural feats as well as beautiful museums, such as Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Or go shopping in what the locals affectionately dub the 'Koopgoot' (literally: shopping gutter). The centre is easy to reach from the hotel and you can quickly reach other parts of the city thanks to Rotterdam's excellent public transport links.

Breakfast is served on weekdays from 06:00 until 10:30, and at weekends from 07:00 until 11:00. Guests can enjoy outstanding dishes and wines in the restaurant, which is also the perfect place for lunch or a snack. Lunch is served daily from 11:00 until 17:00. Dinner is served from Sunday to Friday from 17:00 until 22:00, and on Saturday from 17:00 until 23:00.

Rotterdam is a dynamic place that is perfect for a city trip. Home to Europe's largest port, it's well worth hopping on a boat to admire the city from the water. Check out extraordinary architecture, such as the Cube Houses and the Erasmus Bridge.
