The Bilderberg Parkhotel Rotterdam first opened its doors in 1922, and has been known as the 'Grande Dame' of Rotterdam ever since. The building has been extended and modernised throughout the years. An international breakfast buffet is served on Monday to Friday from 06:30 until 10:30, and at weekends from 07:00 until 10:30. Tasty dishes, simple and special. Restaurant The Park serves all-time favourites with a playful twist. In the centre of Rotterdam, The Park is a hub for locals. Head chef Richard de Vries and sommelier Jasper Mein offer the perfect setting for a business lunch, shared dining experience with friends or 'just' a nice glass of wine. Since 2018, Restaurant The Park has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, the award for restaurants with an excellent price-quality ratio.

“Overnight to see Rotterdam Museum”
- This Hotel was around the corner from the Museums we wanted to visit. Our room was wonderful and the staff was good. We enjoyed the restaurant very much.

- Very hot in bed, thick quilt for the time of year. However it was unusually hot for the time of year.

- The receptionists were so friendly, and always wore a bright smile. The ambiance of the hotel, and room in general was great. Price included breakfast buffet.

- The scrambled eggs were too salty and too runny at breakfast. And since that s the only downside, I d say the place is pretty good

“Bilderberg - great location, but a bit old and dark”
- Great location for the train station, and Erasmus MC. Staff were friendly and courteous. Free wifi was excellent - and I had read previous reviews that said you didn t have it, so this should be promoted
- The hotel is a bit dark and dingy, carpets look old and a little dirty.

“A very dated and hotel”
- Location
- The room I stayed in was very dated, the curtains were dirty, the carpet thread bare & a socket hanging off the wall. It was also very noisy during the night. The breakfast was very expensive, with being there on business all I would require in the morning was a cup of coffee(which was not supplied in the room) and some cereal and have to pay 24.50 Euros for it is very over priced. - Stayed in the tower,the other (park rooms) are not good and I would be given another score ( more negative)
- Old type TV and hairdryer, the breakfest is still the same ( for many years !) Try to upgrade with new dishes.

- Hotel was central, could walk downtown and to the museums. Very helpful staff
- Had asked for a "garden room", but was put on the street side, which was a bit busy. Fortunately it was a holiday, so the next day it was very quiet. Breakfast was not included, and I resented having to pay 20 euro p.p. for a breakfast. There was no need for a great big buffet, but a continental breakfast option should have been offered.

- The personnel was very professional, kind and helpful. For instance I was immediately given a new rooom for non-smokers after notifying the receptionist of the problem with bad smoke-smell in the room I received at the check-in. Excellent food in the restaurant and at breakfast. Walking distance to city center, train station and Erasmus bridge
- The first room I was assigned at the check-in was for smokers and smelled terribly of smoke, despite I requested a room for non-smokers when I booked on-line. The mirror in the bathroom was not above the sink but almost besides it, which made shaving a bit more laborious than usual
