Wonderful weekend in Rotterdam

The staff at this hotel were more than helpful in any instance. A good central location to the attractions in Rotterdam, and even though our room faced the road, there was no interferance to our stay from any noise outside.

Efficient lift. Helpful staff. Near Museum Park. Some books available to borrow, and quite a good folder of City information though it was not all up to date. But staff knew a lot.

Tea/coffee in room was not automatically provided. Breakfast rather costly unless you have a really big appetite.

I stayed for two separate nights and was bitten by mosquiitoes on both occasions. I had the window open and am prone to being bitten so I suppose it is just that I am susceptible. I stayed in a hotel in Zurich last summer and the same thing happened there-so it is just me! I wouldn't let that put anyone off staying there.

“My tip: There is an easy-to- reach restaurant cafe ( The West Pavillion)on the corner which has a good menu and is nice to sit outside. It is handy if you arrive late or don't want to go further for a meal.”

the TV is very small and very old. What a pity for the Eurocup 2012.

Great Rotterdam location with great Dutch breakfast

Great location near Boymans van Beuningen museum and the harbor but even the center is walking distance. Private parking!! Wonderful room on 3rd floor with doors to balcony. Very comfortable beds, Clean and well appointed bathroom with towel warmer! One of the best Dutch breakfast buffets we've had in NL. Very nice staff, very tastefully decorated public areas and bedroom. We will return!!

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff . My room which was a "Comfort" room with king size bed was well appointed and clean. Excellent breakfast included in price of room. Great location that makes getting around Rotterdam easy, both by public transportation and walking.

Hotel had a great location, very convenient to museums, transportation, etc. Hotel staff was top notch, friendly and professional. The room itself was excellent with lots of room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Great coffee.

Very cost effective hotel and very clean. Breakfast one of the best buffet I have had in Holland food fresh and very tasty would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The location is excellent for anywhere in the city centre. The breakfast is great, and the room we stayed in was recently refurbished.

The hotel seemed to be undergoing refurbishment while we stayed there and there was no lift, which made getting to our third floor room a bit difficult. However despite this the hotel managed to provide a good service and the quality of the refurbished rooms seems high.

A good place to stay in Rotterdam

Well appointed comfortable room, with good facilities. Lovely balcony, light and airy. Quiet location which was much appreciated. Staff very helpful and gave good advice about what to see and do in Rotterdam, suited to our interests.

Fridge was not working (only reported this on checking out and staff assured me it would be fixed). Hot/cold water difficult to adjust in the bath/shower,

I found the hotel met all my need's, it was easy to find , easy to get around , it did not matter who you asked all the staff answered my questions.

I was so happy with the hotel and the standards they kept, that seeing dust on the handel of the hair dry seemeed to bug me. i guess it was just never used.

We enjoyed the hotel very much, teh beautifull decoration in the ceilings and the nice and spacy rooms.

staff extremely courteous and friendly; generous buffet breakfast with wide selection of items, served across a wide time span (6:30 am-10:30 am so it was conveniently accessible no matter what my plans. very, very clean. Good security (visitors must be buzzed in to the front door, keys must be left at the desk). Amenities like shampoo, soap and shower caps provided (this was not the case in other hotels I stayed at nearby). Coffee, tea, etc. made available in the room. Extra blanket and pillows provided automatically. Heat adjustable by room.

I have stayed there three times (three different rooms). IN one room, the toilet has an odor.....I have experienced this also at the nearby hospital, so I think it may be a problem of the sewer system, and not the hotel\'s fault. It certainly was not from a lack of cleanliness....the hotel and bathroom was spotless!

Lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed, lots of space, great working TV, warm and cosy and very clean,friendly people at reception and in breakfast room, and the breakfast was very good too.

Not really. Perhaps a boiled egg would have been nice as an extra for breakfast but I didn\'t ask so can\'t complain.
