- convenient connection between airport and hotel - very friendly and very helpful staff. Great check in after I had received cancellations from another reservation in different place
- Quality of food not great although very well presented and well served.(Prefer real eggs not powdered for scrambled eggs). Breakfast selection, however very good and staff excellent on keeping the presentation in top form

“Excellent value--would definitely return”

The room was immaculate and well-appointed. Really appreciated the various options of lighting, that the windows could be opened, the bed and linens were top-quality, and the shower was terrific. Check-in reception was super friendly and efficient.
I couldn t find info on website about airport shuttle bus schedule. Clearer details would be appreciated.

“Overall very good, comfortable and good value”

Good price for the quality, comfortable room (including the bed), great service at the bar (best I experienced so far in the Netherlands, comparing dozens of establishments), free airport shuttle and very good breakfast buffet
Two small things 1) Our bar tab was 4 euros more the next morning than on our receipt. We just needed to check out and get to the airport so I didn t want to dispute, but if there s a secret 4 euro charge for billing to the room, this should be clearly stated and not a surprise. 2) For any others traveling to the airport in the morning, allow for an hour extra time to get to the airport. This is no fault of the hotel, but the shuttle, which states it runs 4 times per morning, was only able to

“Nice people and great food”

The waiters are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their wines and beers. One of them even remembered me from September. The food was excellent.

“Fantastic place to break a L O N G journey.”

We often travel to the Eastern Med, requiring a lay-over. Usually fly via Heathrow--never again. Schipol airport is so efficient! Hotel stay was fantastic--SUPERB service, esp in dining room, outstanding food, quiet, fresh air, good bed, and we cannot wait to return. VERY happy new customers.
We would have preferred flatter pillows, or at least a choice.

“A comfortable hotel but a little pricey when lacking air conditioning.”

Dinner was enjoyable and well presented by attentive staff.The room was comfortable, but see below.
On a fairly warm and uncomfortable evening, it was most disappointing to be told by Reception staff that the 'air conditioning' only blew air at the ambient temperature without actually cooling it. I find this quite amazing for a modern hotel and believe that the staff may have got this wrong, and that the real reason actually was that energy was being saved. Coming from Canada where we were until recent days still using heating to keep warm, a more appropriate temperature really ought to be avaialble for the international traveller, looking to catch up on some sleep.
