- No extravaganza, but a good stay over for guests. We chose this hotel because of its location, and were not disappointed. Price quality was ok, friendly staff and early morning we could go to the airport, fully rested. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you have to be at the airport, early in the morning

- dissapointing to find restaurant shut on a saturday, girl in charge said we could eat in lobby, not ideal for a romantic night out! When asked why it was not open she said it was shut because it was shut! ( very helpful!)

- We got the hotel room very last minute as we needed to stay in Amsterdam unexpectedly. The quality of the room was very good, the interior seemed new and it was very clean.

- The check in was very efficient and friendly. We had reserved a room, and were in our room within 5 minutes of our arrival. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable.
- The alarm at our bedside went off at 11 pm. It was difficult in that moment of waking up to figure out how to turn it off. It would be good for staff to make sure the alarm of a bedside clock is turned off for each new guest. The doors are somewhat heavy to maneuver while carrying a suitcase.

- Hallway and Room furnishings a bit on the dated site, but nothing to worry about

- Kind staff at check in. Plenty of free parking space. Close to airport and Amsterdam City center. Price for room.
- Hallway in which the door to our room was, was really full with clean linnen carts for cleaning ladies the next morning. We had to really manoeuver to get to our room. In front of room in parking lot large graafmachine that left for road work nearby at early hour waking us up. We booked Best Western but got Bastion.....or rather a bit of both. Confusing. Price for breakfast.

- Location of the hotel is good (very close to Schiphol airport) with friendly staffs, quiet with no disturbance, internet access is provided free of charge to customers and also transport to and from the airport is free.

- Good price for one nights stay
- We booked a taxi for 5.30 from reception. When we went down at 5.30 it had gone as the receptionist had allowed a different resident to take it. Consequently we were rushing to make our flight. It wasn't a big problem as we made our flight, but the receptionist cold not see that it may have been an issue and refused to even hint at an apology. I was not pleased with his attitude and manner.

- The price was reasonable and the desk staff was very courteous though overworked. However the most important thing for me was the proximity to the airport for an early morning flight.
- Price was low and so was the "extras" which weren't there... 2 tiny shampoos and conditioners but no mouthwash, no soap. Not a big deal but it seemed a little cheap.

- Elevator and lobby are smelly. Its said 4stars but service is not as good as I expected for the 4Stars hotel.

- it is still noisy at night due to the road and airplane, even after close the window,and it become difficult to breathe when the window is closed. But if you open the window for some air, then the noise is very unberable, I didn\'t fall a sleep the whole night....

- We needed a late night meal becuase of a long flight without food, we were charged close to 35 euros for a burger and fries and a small vegetarian pizza, which i thought was very expensive.

- Comfortable, pleasant surroundings
- There are apparently TWO Best Western Hotels in Schiphol. I got on a bus clearly marked Best Western Hotels only to find I was on the wrong bus. I should have been on a bus for the Hotel Bastion As I was at the end of a 17 hour journey, standing outside Schiphol airport in the cold, this was the last thing I wanted to hear.
