The NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is a luxurious hotel near the A4 motorway. It is located in the business district surrounding Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and is therefore easy to access by car. If you are travelling by public transport, you can make use of the free shuttle bus service, which will take you to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol between 06:00 and midnight. Between 00:00 and 06:00, the shuttle service runs on demand. The shuttle bus departs every 30 minutes (in both directions). The RAI conference centre and the World Trade Centre are only a 15-minute train journey from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and Amsterdam Central Station is only 20 minutes away.

Restaurant Gusto is located on the ground floor and offers an extensive breakfast buffet available from 05:30 every morning: perfect for the early birds. From 12:00 until 14:30, you can enjoy a wide selection from either the à la carte lunch menu or the lunch buffet. A young team of professional chefs work with fresh, seasonal produce. The menu features dishes inspired by French cuisine with an international twist. The restaurant is open from 18:00 until 22:00. The Meeting Point coffee corner offers a great spot for a business meeting in an informal setting. The select menu features international lunch and dinner dishes. Opening times are from 08:30 until 23:00.

The NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel has an excellent location. Business travellers will find that the business districts of both Schiphol and Amsterdam are nearby. The hotel is also perfect for a tourist stay or a stop-over. The Keukenhof, the flower auction of Aalsmeer and the historic centre of Amsterdam are all located within a radius of 15 to 20 kilometres from the hotel.

Quick and friendly check-in. Good dining. Very convenient and quick shuttle service to and from airport. Comfortable common facilities and spacious rooms.
Nothing. Very positive experience which is why I always stay there when traveling through Amsterdam.

Check in took too Long. I had to stand in line for almost an hour. It should never have to take more than 5 minutes for someone with a reservation to check in at any hotel

“Great location to stay if you have to catch an early flight!”

Very close to Schiphol. Indoor swimming facility was marvelous. Lady at the frontdesk who checked us in was very friendly and helpfull.
One of the frontdesk personnel was somewhat blunt/ not very service minded. Furniture and interior need some modernisation.

The courtesy van that goes back and forth to the airport is very good service.
Sometimes one had to wait 3 turns for a bus to get to airport. There should also be power converters from North America available, for those who forget theirs or did not think of it.

Nice Hotel, Good transporation to/from Airport
A bit of a scam with internet. They say the room includes internet. But that means only a cable not the usage. Then you have to pay 10Euro/day for a very poor internet connection (Swisscom internet, always bad)

1) airport shuttle service good but should be FREE. 2) rooms are good size and clean [but hot and no ventilation] 3) Breakfast was good. 4) Reception staff and other staff was very good and polite.
1) Very Bad air conditioning. Room was very stuffy and HOT. I changed room from 3rd floor to ground level and room was still HOT and stuffy. Room AC control doesn't work. 2) Shuttle to SChiphol should be FREE

“Business Traveler - Looking for a Quick Layover Close to Airport”

close to the airport, room availability good, quality and taste of food good, exercise facility good
airport shuttle service - buses are now too small, especially in the mornings people fight over space... I had to wait for two buses! staff in restaurant close to lobby - always under staffed and although good food and beer - the wait is always long... the breakfast in the morning is too expensive, I have stopped having breakfast and wait until I arrive at the airport or go across the street to McDonalds.

“Well presented, clean and welcoming stay, close to Airport + motorway.”

Very close to Schiphol Airport and within 1km of the major motorway network. Only 20kms from Amsterdam centre. For families there is a fast food restaurant directly across the road from the hotel.
In my opinion id would like to see a larger menu choice and the menu to be changed more frequently. I have stayed in the hotel in Jan2012 and have just returned there again some 3 months later and the menu is still the same. The food available on the current menu is very well presented and tasty.
