The stylish restaurant is open daily from 05:00 until 22:30. An extensive breakfast buffet is available until 11:00, after which the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The menu is varied and features dishes from all corners of the globe. During nice weather it's wonderful to sit on the cosy outdoor terrace. In the evenings you can visit the Brasserie (open Monday to Friday from 12:00) where you can unwind with a refreshing drink in hand. Take a seat at the large square bar, on one of the lovely chairs or benches or by the cosy fireplace.

**Route description:**
Hotel Schiphol A4 lies on the A4 motorway, a 5-minute drive from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
- By car, travelling from the direction of Amsterdam (A4): Exit 4 “Nieuw-Vennep/ Alphen a/d Rijn”, take a left at the traffic lights and another left at the following traffic lights onto the motorway towards Amsterdam. Then it's the first exit, “P Den Ruygen Hoek”, near the overhead motorway restaurant and Shell petrol station. Keep right towards the hotel.
- By car, travelling from the direction of The Hague/Rotterdam (A4): Exit “P Den Ruygen Hoek”, near the overhead motorway restaurant and Shell petrol station. Keep right towards the hotel.
- If you are using a satellite navigation system: in the event that your satellite navigation system does not recognise the address Rijksweg A4 number 3 in Hoofddorp you can enter the following:
- Option 1) Place name 'Rijsenhout', then via the option particular destination, restaurants, overhead motorway restaurant.
- Option 2) Petrol station Shell, Den Ruygenhoek.

- I was in the new wing, which is very nice. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable. I enjoyed the room a lot.
- Even though the shower stall and bathroom had their own doors (which can't be locked), the rest of the bathroom is open to the room, so if you step out of the shower you pretty much step into the room. Also, because the bathroom is open, a trip to the bathroom during the night will likely wake the other up. Getting to these rooms with heavy suitcases is a bit tricky because of a small flight of stairs.

- Our company travels to Amsterdam allot for business and we always try this hotel first, for the guys visiting having a relaxing rest in the evenings with good quality rooms and food is important. The Hotel always try to accomiadate us where possible and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

- I was 2 hours early and had to pay early check-in of 15 Euros (later on reduced to 10 Euros). If rooms are free why not allow early check-in for free.

- The free shuttle to the airport is great as well as the free parking. Allows for easy access not only to flights but to the entire train system. Travelers can stay at this hotel and go just about anywhere and not worry about having to park a car and etc.
- May need to add more buses to the airport for the early morning flights. The bus I was on was completely full with all the people and luggage.

- The hotel facilities, friendly staff and comfort in the rooms couldn t be exceeded for the price we paid. It was much less than staying in a Premier Inn in the UK BUT with better facilities. I had looked at reviews on trip advisor, and the only negative review(no tea coffee making facilities in the room, was sorted with an exceptionally quick response to an email sent to the hotel once we had booked.
- Nothing that the hotel would have been able to sort (noisy people), but that was sorted by borrowing Pauls spare earplugs.

- Very helpful in getting an upgrade. The upgrade, which only cost 35 euro, was well worth it. It got us a jacuzzi, and steam shower, an upper floor, a much larger and softer bed, a larger room, and separate toilet facility from the shower area....well worth it!!!
- The first room we had smelled and was very basic for 110 euro! Not worth it at all. They charged us an extra 15 euro to check into a room 2 hours early. Mind you the room was all ready before we got there.......very irritating.

- Bus drivers could be more friendly and also stow your luggage on the bus for you. Our driver barked at me to put my cabin luggage on the bus; I did and expected then that he would handle the check-in luggage which almost then got leftn on the pavement. If that is not his job, tell the passenger to please stow it in the baggage trunk themselves.
