Electric bikes are available for hire at the hotel, allowing you to easily cycle to The Hague and Scheveningen. Public transport will also take you to these places within 10 minutes.

An elaborate breakfast buffet is available in the hotel's breakfast area during the week from 07:00 to 10:00 h, and at weekends from 08:00 to 10:30 h. The hotel has a particularly good restaurant where you can take your time enjoying the most delicious of dishes. The kitchen prepares dishes with tender love and care and an imaginative flare, resulting in small culinary parties on your plate. Naturally the dishes also come with good, accompanying wines. You can lunch and dine in the restaurant as well as in the brasserie. Dinner is available from 18:00 to 21:00 h.

Besides the wonderful beach and dune area, there is also plenty more to see and experience around the hotel. Ter Heijde lies in the middle of Westland, an industrious horticultural area. Cycling, sailing or walking will allow you to see the shimmering glass greenhouses, where among other things, flowers are cultivated and later traded at the large auction hall of FloraHolland in Naaldwijk. The 'Pluktuin' and the 'Japanese Watergarden' are examples of unusual gardens in Naaldwijk. It is also fun to take a round trip through the characteristic area of Midden-Delfland. The nearby cities of The Hague and Delft offer high culture and history, for example at the Mauritshuis and the mausoleum of William of Orange.
