Enjoy your holiday at Farm-house Twijzelerheide. This beautiful old farm dates back to 1916 and has been completely restored. The farm is situated in the middle of lakes and woods in the province of Friesland. As some of the facilities in this small-scale hotel are shared with other guests, it's easy to get to know each other here. Take the lounge, for instance, where there is a television, a seating area, a radio and CD player as well as a games cupboard. A communal breakfast is also served here. The Farm-house has four Double Rooms with an en suite shower and toilet. There are also two Family Rooms with a double bed and bunk beds; the room's shower and toilet are located in the corridor. All rooms come with satellite television or Digitenne.The six-person Family Room is an ideal solution for smaller groups comprising a maximum of 6 people. This room has good beds, two of which are bunk beds, a private patio, and free WiFi; the private shower and toilet located next to the room.

An extensive breakfast is served every morning between 07:00 and 10:00. It is also possible to have your breakfast at a different time, subject to request. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in one of the many restaurants in the area, for instance in Leeuwarden, Dokkum, or a little nearer in Zwaagwesteinde.

Naturally, the vast area of the Farm-house Twijzelerheide is a beautiful starting point for cycling or walking trips. By bike, you can also cycle along a section of the famous 11-city speed skating circuit, for example from Leeuwarden to Bolsward, Sneek and IJlst. Or visit Stavoren near the artificial lake of the IJsselmeer. The legend of the 'girl of Stavoren' still holds a significant cultural value. Sailers, surfers and other lovers of water sports will definitely enjoy the fact that Friesland has an abundance of water. Leeuwarden is a lively place and a nice city for shopping and going out.

The Farm-house is also used as a 'reflection hotel'. A place where you can really take the time to come back to who you are. What's more, it's possible to consult a trained coach in order to gain new insights and seek counsel and advice.

For the bungalow, a deposit of €100 is required upon check-in, which will be balanced with gas, water and electricity costs (as per the meter reading) at the end of your stay.
