The town of Uithoorn lies along the river Amstel, approximately 15 kilometres from Amsterdam, 7 kilometres from Aalsmeer and 20 kilometres from Haarlem. The hotel is easy to reach by car. There are free parking spaces at the hotel and bikes are available for hire. What's more, an hour's journey by regional bus will take you to Amsterdam.

A breakfast buffet is available daily at the hotel; on weekdays from 06:30 until 09:00, and at weekends from 07:30 until 10:30. Restaurant De Gijsbreght is open on Monday to Thursday and serves à la carte dishes as well as a weekly 3-course menu. The bar offers a good choice of drinks and is open daily until late.

Amsterdam and Haarlem are great for a day of shopping, and both cities offer world-class museums. In Aalsmeer, you can visit the world's largest flower auction. There are also plenty of sporty things to do in the surroundings of Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel Uithoorn, for example, cycling, walking, sailing, surfing, and golf. And you can practise your winter sports, too, at the indoor ski run Snowplanet in Velsen-Zuid.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 23:00.
- Every Sunday is Lazy Sunday, when check-out is at 14:00.

- The shuttle bus is included if you have booked a Park, Sleep & Fly Package. For guests who have not booked a Park, Sleep & Fly Package, a single journey on the airport shuttle bus costs €25.
- The shuttle bus runs daily to and from Schiphol Airport on request between 07:00 and 23:00. Outside of these times, the shuttle bus is only available at a surcharge of €15 per single journey. This is regardless of the number of persons with a maximum of 6 persons.
