The history of Château St. Gerlach dates back to the twelfth century. Stylish baroque gardens and a luscious rose garden form part of the estate on which Château St. Gerlach has been running its hotel and restaurant since 1997. Simply indulge in luxury and comfort in this historic setting.

An extensive breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:30. During breakfast in the pavilion, you can enjoy views of the herb garden and the Geuldal Valley.
The former living quarters, kitchen and dining room of Baron de Selys de Fanson are the decor of the restaurant. The menu features French bistrot dishes with a contemporary twist. The team cooks with ingredients from their own estate and from the region. The honey from our own bees is an important ingredient in the preparation of High Tea sweets. In good weather you can take a seat on the Bistrot terrace for lunch, High Tea or dinner. For a latte macchiato, espresso or cappuccino from our barista you can sit down Mayor Quicx, Coffee & More located in the homely castle farm at the entrance of the estate.

Château St. Gerlach lies in Valkenburg aan de Geul. The hotel's beautiful estate is situated in a splendid nature area through which the River Geul meanders. Limburg's landscape is characterised by hills, and the Wilhemina Tower offers you gorgeous views of the area. Furthermore, the ruins of Valkenburg Castle are a popular attraction in this region.
