The characteristic family hotel 2000 is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Valkenburg. You can easily explore the beautiful scenery and numerous attractions with the hotel as your base. Bikes and motorbikes can be stored in a lockable space at the hotel. The city centre and railway station lie within a 10-minute walk of the hotel. The railway station offers excellent transport links to Maastricht and Heerlen. A bus stop is situated nearby.

A breakfast buffet is served daily from 08:00 until 10:00. It is also possible to have breakfast earlier, and guests are able to order a packed lunch.In the evening, you can look forward to a delicious dinner served in the hotel's stylish restaurant. Besides a 3-course dinner, the restaurant also offers a choice of two main dishes of meat or fish. The kitchen is happy to take into account any dietary wishes. Barbecues are organised in the summer months. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00 until 16:00 and for dinner from 17:30 until 20:30.

Walk or cycle along winding roads and tracks through stream valleys with country estates, castles, watermills, and cloisters. Located in Valkenburg is Thermae 2OOO, where you can choose from a variety of spa facilities, while De Valkenier theme park and the Sprookjesbos fairy tale park are great options for children.

Good location and parking, good rates, and nice breakfast choice. Beds very comfortable. Pleasant staff.
Rooms in older part of hotel are warm and cosy, but some rooms could do with some upgrading, such as handles on toilets etc. Minor things but important.

Older rooms are a bit small, especially the bathrooms, go for the upgrade.

Very good value - well appointed rooms, good location and breakfast.
False activation of the fire alarm system during the night which was unfortunate however the alarm did not go off in both of the rooms I had booked.

Rooms were clean and quite spacious.
Strange smell when first entering hotel and it was there for the duration of the stay. The door leading to the balcony from the room was missing the top hinge so made it dangerous and hard to close door. reported this to reception but was never fixed during our stay.

good location en route to Germany and a handy 3-4hours from Channel ports. Nice big free car park suitable for vans, buses etc. Nice breakfast.
Single room in old part of hotel, small and out dated, bathrooms and whole room needs urgent makeover. Poor lighting. Internet does not seem to work except if you sit outside in smokers area.Should make wireless work everywhere. Staff friendly, but to willing to pick up a call and chat when dealing with you, which is a bit rude. I have stayed before and will again as the bed is comfy, the price and location right but hope to see improvements
