Bed & Breakfast De La Ruïne is situated at the foot of the centuries-old ruins of Valkenburg Castle. There are many ways to explore this area and its surroundings. Friendly staff will gladly offer you tips for a fun day out. You'll quickly feel at home here. After a busy day out in Valkenburg and its vicinity it's lovely to return to the hotel terrace to unwind. The rooms have recently been restyled and come with an en suite shower, a toilet and a television. The Bed & Breakfast also offers larger rooms for 3 and 4 persons. This is only possible on request.

Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 until 10:30. The restaurant is open from 11:00 until 19:00, and serves French and Dutch cuisine. Moreover, it's also wonderful to sit on the terrace at the foot of the castle ruins. On Tuesday and Wednesday the restaurant is closed. The bar is open from 11:00 and closes once the last guests have left. After the restaurant has closed, guests of the bed and breakfast can enjoy free tea and coffee in the lounge on the 1st floor. Other drinks are available at an additional charge.

The charming town of Valkenburg lies in the hilly landscape of Limburg. The ruins of Valkenburg Castle are a popular tourist attraction, situated right next to Hotel de la Ruïne. A perfect base for exploring the surroundings. The cities of Maastricht, Aachen and Liège are also certainly worth visiting. You can relax and luxuriate at the Thermae 2000 spa or visit the nearby caves. In short, there's plenty to see and do in Valkenburg!
