The Wilhelminatoren watch-tower and the Roman catacombs are also worth visiting. Valkenburg has developed into a well-known health resort, thanks to Thermae 2000, situated at the top of the Cauberg. You can explore the surroundings of Parkhotel Valkenburg during a walk or bike ride. And a trip to Maastricht, Aachen or Liège is also easy to accomplish.
