The welcoming Hotel Piccard is just 100 metres from Vlissingen's beautiful boulevard, where you can watch sea-going vessels sailing by. It is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel to the sea, the beach, and the dunes. The indoor shopping centre is also within walking distance.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available Monday to Saturday from 06:30 until 10:00, and on Sunday from 06:30 until 10:30. The kitchen is open daily from 12:00 until 21:30. Pets are not permitted in the restaurant.

One of Vlissingen's major attractions is the pirate park and sea aquarium Het Arsenaal, where you can stroke sharks and rays, or climb the 65-metre high tower to enjoy a magnificent view over the busy Westerschelde waterway. The charming city of Middelburg with over a thousand monuments is also worth visiting, and is easy to reach from Hotel Piccard Vlissingen.

The staff were helpful and very cheerful. The restaurant was simple but very good and the ambiance great. We had one first floor room with a balcony, which was great. We shall return.
We also had a room on the ground floor, which had no balcony and was not so pleasant.
