Bastion Hotel Eindhoven Waalre lies in the south of Eindhoven, an ideal location in relation to A2 and A67 motorways. The 4-star hotel opened its doors in July 2017, and offers free parking, a restaurant, a hotel bar, and a smoking lounge.
A continental breakfast buffet is served on weekdays between 06:00 and 09:00, and at weekends between 07:00 and 10:30.
The restaurant offers an elaborate à la carte menu and is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays from 11:00 until 23:00, and at weekends until 22:00. The atmospheric hotel bar is open for drinks until 23:30.
The proximity of both the A2 and A67 motorways means there are plenty of options for day trips whilst staying at the Bastion Hotel Eindhoven Waalre.

- It's nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Note it's not close to the center, but there is good parking.
- Sometimes the lobby bar & restaurant (there are in one space) we filled with smell from the kitchen.

“Bed bites and unprofessional staff”
- The showers
- We booked three rooms on the 4th floor, beds where comfortable but only had one pillow. The following morning we all woke up with bites over our bodies. In the evening time they close the security gates to the entrance of the hotel, every evening we had issues getting in, we would buzz on the intercom and wait ages! On one occasion the security officer/receptionist was really rude raising his voice at us, threatening to call the police he was really unprofessional, lucky another guest witness this and calmed the situation down!

- nice modernised rooms , comfortable beds and good shower . very good soundproofing, was dubious because of close proximity to motorway, but once in the hotel couldn’t hear it at all , plenty of parking for a large vehicle. staff very Friendly

“horrible experience”
- I arrived just after midnight and spent 1 hour trying to get my room. there was no paperwork of my reservation and also no information sent to me that my reservation was cancel or not. such a big hotel chain surely such have better chain of command. At the end I ended up having to pay for the night, surely the hotel could of done something for me.

“Basic shelter to survive the night in a warm bed and having breakfast in the morning...”
- The top floor view was awesome... The lifts are fast... The bathroom and toilet are very clean.
- The furniture was very old and we could hear the neighbors yelling or humping... The TVs are all broken on the top floor or didn't work at all... The internet was very slow (couldn't load pornhub or was banned) The breakfast was very basic

“It’s good place for short stay for business”
- Room is sound proof as mentioned, bathroom is spacious. Room is decent but not very clean (saw spider webs). Location, bar, wifi is good, the hotel location is secured (parking). The check in and check out time is very good.
- The staff which I’m only pointing out one lady with the fat behind(I forgot her name). My card key got locked twice before the check out time (around 11am on Saturday 28th October) and she didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience neither she was friendly.. shame that she is working there to ruin the hotel reputation. Sorry, but if you work in a 4 stars hotel then behave like your working there.

“Very good.”
- Very comfortable and clean, just off the motorway so great location. Secure, gated parking and plenty of it.
- We arrived late on the 12th and the bar had just closed. However 15 minutes later we noticed that some other people had been served. This wasnt the end of the world but to be honest I felt that the girl behind the reception was quite blunt, bordering on being rude! It was a shame as everything else was very good. I would recommend staying here.

- I will arrive at 12 o’clock in the night we went to the rooms no water was supplied into the room we went downstairs nowhere to get water from downstairs drinking water I don’t ask champagne or anything else just plain drinking water nowhere around next day we wake up 830 Quiktrip ourselves and we came down at 9 o’clock in the morning just to find out the breakfast was closed and we left the hotel thirsty and hungry And we paid €152 for one night And stuff very unprofessional this is what you can expect from this four-star hotel if you gonna travel here

“OK-ish for one night and travel by car but could be so much better.”
- Hotel OK, but for the price I expected more. Good parking space. Reasonably good breakfast, but again, having experienced other hotels in the Netherlands in this price bracket, could be better.
- My credit card was authorized 3 times in total due to service clerk's errors. Even after paying the bill last Friday, there is still 1x outstanding authorization on my card, I just hope that I will not be double-charged. Noisy airco / heat pump in the room that cannot be completely switched off for the night, even if you press the "off" button it still works. Disturbs sleep at night when it is really quiet otherwise, with compressor noise and liquids constantly sloshing around the airco pipes. I would rather sleep in the cold but in silence. When you want to use the bathroom and shower, hot water pressure is much higher than cold water pressure, risks scalding. Only overhead shower was working satisfactorily, the smaller shower did not provide output other than scalding hot water. In summary, avoid room 521. Finally, once you get out of the hotel on foot, you can exit through a small gate next to the large car gate. But on the way back, the only way to gain access on foot is to press the button to open the large electric gate for cars. What a waste of electricity... not impressed.
