In the middle of the Noordoostpolder countryside lie the hotel homes of Restinn Warmenhuizen. Here, rural life is combined with the luxury of a stay at a good hotel. The premises are detached and lie on the estate of the Dekker Family, who have managed this lovely bit of North Holland since 1995 and are the proud owners of Tuinderij de Marlequi market garden. Various seasonal products are cultivated here. Daffodils and grape hyacinths grace the garden pots in spring. In summer you can look out across fields full of sunflowers and other flowers, while pumpkins and ornamental cabbages are harvested in autumn. The products are sold at the farm's very own stall. The family also organises various workshops and activities. Bike hire is also available.

Breakfast is served daily at your hotel home by the hostess. You can also order a packed lunch for the road, at an extra charge. Plus it's not even necessary to leave your hotel home for dinner. On request, the friendly hostess will serve a delicious 2 or 3-course dinner. The time at which dinner is served can be agreed with the hostess. There is a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and you can enjoy an accompanying wine. The mini-bar is stocked with various drinks, snacks and sweets.

The picturesque artist village of Enigenburg is just two kilometres from Restinn Warmenhuizen. Here you can marvel at art and enjoy some sightseeing. For instance the remains of Nuwendoorn citadel or the regional museum of Surmerhuizen. Bicycles, tandems or steps are available for hire at the Tuinderij, allowing you to take fun trips in and around the area.

The Dekker family is very welcoming and will happily show you around the market garden. According to the season, the typical West-Frisian barn is restyled with the flowers and decorative fruit of the moment. Until Christmas, it is the well-known pumpkin barn. From February onwards, it will have been transformed to a spring barn. In the barnyard, you can relax at one of the picnic tables and take in the glorious views of Harenkarspel's farmland.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 19:00 and it is not possible to arrive later in the evening.
